Agopo (agopo.in) is a personal finance app for India, built by Navin Lalwani. With your permission, it reads your Gmail to find bank alerts, credit card bills and subscription receipts, and turns them into a dashboard of your expenses, bills, subscriptions and trends. It also offers a timeline of trips and events, an optional family view, and an AI assistant called Po. By signing up and using Agopo, you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Connecting Gmail is optional. When you connect it, you allow Agopo to read your email (read-only) so it can find and process financial emails for you. We cannot send, delete or change anything in your mailbox. You can remove this access at any time by choosing Disconnect in Settings, or from your Google Account permissions. Without Gmail access, Agopo can no longer add expenses automatically, but you can still add them yourself.
You own the data and files you add to Agopo. You give Agopo a limited licence to store, process and display them to you and to any family members you invite, only to provide the service. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
You are responsible for having the right to add anything you upload. Do not upload documents belonging to other people without their consent.
If you invite family members, they can see the combined family view you both take part in. Only invite people you are comfortable sharing that with. You are responsible for who you invite.

Agopo uses Google's Gemini AI to read financial emails, categorise transactions and power Po. AI can make mistakes. It may misread an amount, merchant or date, or pick the wrong category. Please check the transactions and reminders Agopo creates. We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated results.
Agopo and Po give information and general suggestions about your own spending, such as savings tips and trends. This is not investment, tax or professional financial advice. You make your own financial decisions. Agopo does not move money or make payments for you.
Agopo is provided "as is." We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for data loss or missed reminders, so do not rely on Agopo alone for bill due dates or other critical deadlines. Keep copies of important records elsewhere.
Agopo is currently free. We may introduce paid plans in the future and will give existing users at least 30 days notice before any change that affects their access.
You can stop using Agopo at any time. To delete your account, choose Delete account in Settings. This permanently removes your account and data. If you cannot use Settings, email us at the address below and we will delete your data within 7 days of your request. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
